The Last Stand Up Show

So here's something to think about : It is fairly easy to imagine an Alien civilization existing out there in the universe . Now given the age of the universe is 13.8 Billion Years and humans are only biological evolved for a mere 200,000 years and technically evolved for less than a 1000 years ; an Alien life form that may have emerged even a Million years ago would be far more technologically advanced . beyond comprehension by 2018 standards . Any human being is a result of its Connectome . A connectome is a comprehensive map of neural connections in the brain, and may be thought of as its "wiring diagram". More broadly, a connectome would include the mapping of all neural connections within an organism's nervous system , hence containing all information about its reflexes and reactions to every stimulus . A complete knowledge of an individual's physical connectome and how it relates to its subjective experience can provide immense power to the information
so , song theory everyone i have talked to has reported experiencing this effect where a song would sound much better after a couple of listens . First time only seldom songs hit the spot and even those achieve a bump in likeness after a few replays . this is a peculiar phenomenon to me and hence i have a hypothesis repetition of a song makes connections in your brain aka memory of the general tune , sounds and the lyrics of a song . and now at the third listen or whatever the brain starts to predict what the next beat , tune or lyric is coming up next and when the prediction is almost immediately confirmed , this causes a dopamine release in the brain similar to getting an answer right in a math test . this continual conformation of correct answers pertaining to the song causes a rolling snow ball effect of dopamine and similar motivating , feel good hormones in the brain . this is why songs feel and sound better after a few listens . this is backed up by the fact that even a son

science literacy

" If facts don’t fit the Theory , change the Facts . “, quoted Albert Einstein demonstrating the significance of theories in scientific research and discovery . but alas, now a days the word theory is being wildly misrepresented and misunderstood by the masses . i believe that, to have a better understanding of how science works one must at least have the basic understanding of the role that theories and laws play in scientific research . science is the art of discovering the unknown . it is mankind's best explanation of how the universe works . a theory is not just an idea .it is what scientists work for , a large body of continually refined observations , inferences and testable hypotheses . a theory is the fundamental unit of science and can hence sometimes can hold more weight than a fact . But one must not mistake theory for being the absolute truth . A good theory should always be ready to admit that it is wrong in the light of contradictory evidences . that is why th

Quantum Biology

Biology at the cellular level is just complex organic chemistry and chemistry is about the interaction of atoms ,which are governed by the law of physics. However when studying cellular processes; simply using the classical understanding of physics proves inefficient   in accurately explaining the nature of several biological processes we observe . Particularly the   almost perfect efficiency of photosynthetic organisms in converting solar energy to usable chemical energy and the detection of the geomagnetic field by migratory birds .   Hence I believe that it is very likely that   many organisms depend on mechanisms governed by the laws of quantum mechanics and use many different quantum phenomenon to their advantage and for their survival . I would like to preface this essay by briefly explaining what is quantum mechanics    Quantum mechanics is the study of atoms and   subatomic particles which are the smallest energy levels in the universe .Hisenberg’s uncertainty princ

The Faceless Monster

'' The overlord is usually content with himself . he loves his routine and duties , and resists change . He never simply gives in until an army of new Invaders ( Members ) choke him up and force realizations upon him ; to which the beast reacts poorly . he gets infuriated and throws tantrums , creates a mess until he gradually realizes that the mutiny of these new invaders was just so they can dive in and and occupy some space inside the monster's head and that he is not the same beast he was a Generation ago .'' Given the concept of emergence , the fact that new properties of a system emerge when smaller units are viewed collectively as one state , we can derive that large groups of individuals behave like one single organism .this can be seen in the corporate world where a large business starts to behave like a separate organism who's motivations and ambitions are different from the aspirations of all the individuals .In the same was society seems to tak
